Entre Vivos y Plebeyos - il Perù e il suo popolo

Nel 2002 Matìas Vega reallizzò Entre vivos y plebeyos (lett. “tra vivi e plebei”), un cortometraggio documentario che, in 12 minuti cerca di sintetizzare la personalità e le caratteristiche dei peruani che vivono in Lima.

Con una narrazione umoristica, tipica degli ultimi documetari di inchiesta alla “Michael Moore”, questo documentario illustra le caratteristiche dell’uomo peruano attraverso tre personaggi tipici della capitale Lima: lo studente, l’imprenditore, e l’autista di combi (=piccoli pullman adibiti al trasporto pubblico).

Accolto non sempre molto bene in Perù, il cortometraggio, mostra l’attuale realtà peruana, vale a dire, tutto il malcostume che tutt’oggi è molto radicato in Perù e che, anche per questo la società peruana non riesce ad avere un’identità forte per poter confrontarsi con gli altri paesi del mondo.
